Counter-Strike People who showed: Zimtok5, classZdefiler, Rincewind, Skalragg, Titan
Comments: We had a Counter Strike match in Web Workhouse. It was a 5v5 versus (DOA)'s clan on de_dust2. We did not have all of our best players there, but we still gave them a run for their money (and our money) until our money ran out and they beat us 2-10 as Ts and again 2-10 as CTs. I would like to honor Skalragg for his great performance during and after the match. He tried to keep our team together, but to no avail. Thanks to Skalragg, ClassZdefiler, Titan, and Rincewind for showing up to the match on very short notice, or no notice at all in Rincewind's case! I'm hoping that next time we can substitute Titan or even myself for a player like HAL9000 or Yautja if he ever decides to come back!

Comments: Basically my clan-based 18th birthday party, I treated a whole bunch of the guys to pizza, coke, and 4 hours in Web Workhouse. It was a great day and I think everyone had a good time. We certainly should have played Day of Defeat for more than the last half hour because it was much better fun than Counter Strike.

Comments: Okay, I understand that it's the holiday season, and that HAL9000 was sick and so he and Wamphyre stayed home, but come on guys... 3 friggin' people? And we had to go to Web Workhouse because of the lack of players! This was an all time low for sure (even if I'm beginning to like WWH more than I used to). Thanks to Yautja and RuaRi for showing, and that wierd guy Ow3n@g3 who kept 'ow3ning' me and who obviously spends a bit too much time in WWH for them to give him his own computer 'island' separate from everyone else. Anyways, thanks again to those dedicated enough to come... I hope everyone isn't 'sick' next time!

People who showed: HAL9000, d34gl3_3v4n, aRob, Revolver Ocelot, Yautja, AngelFrogg
Comments: We won on de_cbble, that's all you need to know. HAL9000 performed excellently in the first round, where AngelFrogg ded very well in the second. Overall the team performed better than expected. The score was recorded on the Terrorist side… and DSC won 11:10 against HnR (Hit n' Run). HnR were good sports throughout with the exception of one who didn't like HAL's AWP-ing abilities. Also, due to Yautja being kicked from the match by HAL9000, he has left, taken down the website, and left DSC to fend for itself. But other than that, it was a good match.

5 v 5 [CCM]
People who showed: Zimtok5, HAL9000, Yautja, Anniha, insectsx, a Leprechaun
Comments: Ooooh, we did quite a bit better than I expected today. Out of two 12-round games, we finished 20 - 4 against CCM. That was divided into us as T's first [T - 9, CT - 3] and second as CT's [ T - 1, CT - 11]. Unfortunately a Leprechaun was late for the match so we subbed in Yautja in his place. HAL9000 stole the show as usual and performed as we would expect him to do so, that is, showing great ability. We also had some help during the 2nd round by Ringo $*** filling in for Anniha who had to leave due to parental problems, but I don't feel that he is really much better than Anniha , and the match would have still been won without him, be we appreciate his help. I also would like to thank insectsx for playing quite well. Anniha is much improved, and this was also apparent today. We actually fought like a team for the first time and maybe it's time we entered so real (un-friendly) clanmatches. All of this is great, but CCM had to replace two of their key players and also Leon seemed to be having some difficulty with his mouse, so I would say that a re-match is in order. When? I'll let you know as soon as I do. Good job team!

Comments: I feel very badly for overbooking our best clanmatch yet! The problem is that WttW has only a capacity for 11 gamers, and that wasn't half of what we needed today. We had to turn away a whole gang of guys who came down from Web Workhouse, along with fellow clanmembers and other extraneous gamers. It totaled up to be about 20 guys turned down. Next time we will go to Web Workhouse even with their beeatch staff and overly high prices just because they have more computers. It's seriously unfortunate, because I think that the staff in WttW treats people much better, as if they actually want customers...not like Web Workhouse. But when it comes down to sheer numbers, WWH has the stuff, and is better equipped to handle clan matches. On a last note, let me just add that UT2003 (or UT2K3) is absolutely a blast in multiplayer, but maybe that's just because it's so much more like Quake now, and i love Quake.

People who showed: Zimtok5, HAL9000, Wamphyre, Yautja, Anniha, RuaRi
Comments: This was good fun, mainly because we had a great group of guys in, and we played hilariously fun user-created maps like awp_map, scoutsknivez, and cs_cock. We also had a good time online, while Yautja, Hal, and Anniha played Homeworld (Strategy-Space game). We played very few legitimate CS maps, but we did play de_dust and a few others that I can't remember, but it was great fun, and I think everyone has improved drastically. See you guys at the next one!

Comments: Once broadband hits the shores of Ireland coupled with free local calls, maybe DSC will be able to play online together like we should with our outside-Cork members. The lag was quite bad playing against (or with) Muad'Dib for that half hour of tortuous slowdown. In the end we abandoned the idea and were forced into the bliss of LANdom where we had enjoyable bouts in CS v1.5 and DoD beta v3.1 on avalanche. Anniha brought along a French guy name Gillaume [pronounced Gi-lome] who went by the alias of super-smidge. He was obviously familiar with CS and primarily with cs_assault. We also got a visit from the 3rd yr. Pres squad. This consisted of HipHopAnonomous, whom I know fairly well, and his 4 other goonies. With these guys we played JK2 and some more CS, all great fun, along with a half hour of AvP2 and some Serious Sam mixed in.

Comments: Today was a great show of old faces and new. We had a new face (2nd time at CS) whose temp name was Deathmaster, and we finally got Praetorian back in for some action. I must admit, that rust comes off fast on him. We also had another nooB named RuaRi show up, who wasn't half bad. And we had our good ole' buddy mr. switch name every game. It was great fun in CS and DoD (where dod_avalanche was absolutely hilariously fun). DoD is definetely much better with beta 3.0 and CS isn't any less addictive. Now I just hope most of the clan can make the reuinion match at the end of summer!

Comments: I don't know where they came from, but the city is flooded with Spanish people (probably from Spain). Now, we don't mind them outside of WttW, but when 10 of them come in shouting and looking to play us at CS, we have to defend our Territory. And that is what we did. It was us 4 vs 6 of them. I have to say that Nacho and Druida were quite good, and I got around to speaking to HeatoN in spanish, but we wiped the floor with them. Damned Nacho couldn't take it and kept restarting the server like a little kid. Even our new member Skalragg was doing well considering he had played CS only once before with bots at a friend's house. This was our day of honor, and we kicked ass. DSC vs. Espana (Spain). Comments: It was great LAN fun. Mainly we played CS, because it because there isn't anything better out there right now. Maybe when Condition Zero comes out, we will be playing that instead. We had a 5-player 'bounce' game on HL which was quite hilarious followed by a fairly even CS match on all the best maps...Dust, Assault, Aztec, Piranesi, Train, etc. DSC now have great players at CS. The biggest change was in Wamphyre who showed his new-found skills by taking down difficult opponents like Zimtok5 and Hal-9000. Good show everyone!

Half-Life Deathmatch Comments: Paravoid and I (Zimtok5) had an absolutely hilarious battle for about an hour on the Half-Life [no fancy mods] map called 'bounce'. I highly reccomend 1v1 matches on this map if you only have 2 people playing on a LAN. Even better fun than massive knife fights on CS. (these also come highly reccomended)

Day of Defeat Comments: It was an epic day in terms of adrenaline. Veins pumped purple blood, and some gushed from those very ventricles and spilt onto the gritty dirt where it sank slowly to a dark maroon essence. The soldiers fought as martyrs would, sacrificing themselves fro their trench-mates. Never has morale been so welled up in the hearts of our men. The battlefield soaked with the blood of fallen enemies, gleamed orange in the afternoon sun, and all was quiet. The echo of a deafening silence hung like a black shadow over the landscape of rubble and broken concrete. This was the end. It would be a length of time again before men would walk as our heroes had on the crumbling streets of old Caen. Desolate, deserted, a ghost town some would say, torn to pieces in an enormous conflict. And an enormous battle it had been. Bullets flew as spirits were torn from their fleshy coffins and men fell, lifeless. This was only the beginning to the best DSC experience yet. War raged over the 8-player LAN as screams of agony cried out. Comradare stood high above all other emotions and adrenaline filled the room. This day has been one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences of all my life. Only one place could facilitate such a wonderful day. Wired to the World! Nothing short of DoD-bliss was felt on that Saturday by all combatants. We shined and fell in glory. By the age of 93, I do not think that I shall forget what happened today. A stunning magnificence to stand up with the best things in life.

Counter-Strike: League Competition Comments: In this league-style tournament, each team is allowed 5 players, playing out on a random map, from both T and CT sides. Terrorist points only count. Unfortuantely we got assigned to de_prodigy and due to our lack of play on this map we lost (but not too badly). We were matched up against a team bearing the title -=PTN=- of whose meaning still eludes me. The score was 8 - 5, so not too poor, seeing as they had been practicing from 7 o' clock the previous evening.

Counter-Strike: We Got Guns! Team Competition Comments: Demon Skull Clan's first entry into a sanctioned tournament. I have to admit that it didn't go very well, but we did our best given the circumstances. JimBob98 was doing an honorable deed in subbing in until Paravoid showed, and for that we recognise him. We were paired up against a team called 7. ( ex: 7|Mr.Black|7 ) I would congratulate their win if they hadn't cheated us to get there. They didn't cheat with wallhack or aimbot, they cheated life. We were rightfully winning and they faked a player being kicked out of the server. Then they had the admin reset the server. We would have won, but they cheated us. And for that they have gained an enemy. Solely because we are the honorable, and they are little twelve-year-olds without morals. I have to thank Amish_Assassin, Paravoid, and Archangel for being part of our 4 person team. We did not shine, but our honor is more important than fame. That, and friendly fire isn't. (Please remember this, Archangel)

Counter-Strike Comments: DSC] Trials were an absolute BLAST. I mean that in every sense of the word. BOOM, Terrorists win. Yeah, there was great fun to be had at de_cbble, de_dust, cs_assault, cs_thunder, cs_estate, de_vertigo, de_aztec, and many more. It was a fairly even battle, even with non-members thrown into the formula. Some people like Archangel and -=[CAS]=-Dre.X showed themselves to be very worthy CS players. We even had someone try out for [DSC] and I still want his details. I took a stand for Poultry Protection at cs_Italy when the times got dangerous for the chickens. The hostages however didn't have someone to protect them from terrorists and counter-terrorists alike. 'Hostage Down' envokes that feeling that you wanna blow off another hostage's head. Great times for all, much improvement in the clan can be seen by anyone who played us. We have ridded ourselves of 3 members as well. (You can see who at the clan members page) I have to thank everyone who showed and gave support to the best clan on the planet. [DSC] RULE!
It seems that we have forgotten Q3A and UT for the time being and have moved on (at least for the moment) to Counter-Strike. This great anti-terrorism mod for Half-Life, makes 2 teams work and think like a group and not as individuals. And as we all know, tow heads are better than one (or CS-style: two headshots are better than one!).

Counter-Strike Comments: Very short message this time. No-one but my brother and I showed, so screw the rest of you untrustworthy bastards, because my brother and I could take you all on (In Counter-Strike). As for the 'tournament', it went okay other than the fact that no-one showed. Don't worry, I'm sure I still have a FEW faithful clan members. And as for the rest of you who AREN'T in my clan, you suck even more! Demon SkuLL members are better than YOU! [DSC] Amish_Assassin will kick your ass (Like mine).

Counter-Strike Comments: This was the clan's second battle at Internet Exchange. C-SAR (formerly SKIDS) has changed his name AGAIN to Praetorian. He didn't end up showing this time round, but that's acceptable. K!lla, UnrealED, PARAVOID, Mr.Z and two of PARAVOID's friend's showed up. Gotta say that Cian and Robbie did pretty well for not being all that familiar with CS. There were multiple clans that battled during the day, and I have to say that DS did not shine that day. And other than a few shining moments, we were shadowed by other's great performance. I played with PARAVOID and Cian on cs_pballdust (a map I brought in). This is a great map, and I hope to play with others on it. Anyway, the day was very fun; if extending to awesome at times. And, yes, I am American. If you don't like it, you can shove some C4 so far up your rear end, that when it explodes your body parts are recognized in 48 countries around the globe. On a lighter note, I put up some clan posters at IE. So see if you can spot them. (By the way, knife fights are absolute fun guys, you gotta try it!!!)

Internet Exchange
Counter-Strike Comments: This was the clan's first battle at Internet Exchange, and beside the slightly glitchy computers (sound, lag, network connection), I would rate it as a better gaming experience overall. Better surroundlings, more computers, and Counter-Strike. This addiction has just begun. Only myself, K!LLA, and UnrealED stayed for the whole day, but the two hours with C-SAR (formerly SKIDS), Cerberus, and the three of us was good fun. Unfortunately, Paravoid didn't show, and neither did the friends he was to bring. But that aside, our little Trio took on four members of -=[CLGC]=- on a few AS- maps. The day price was £10, allowing us to break for lunch as well, but great multiplayer fun all day. A 7 hour day at that! I have to say that those who came showed everybody what DS is all about. And that is coming out on top; always. (P.S. Much thanks to -=[CLGC]=-Castaway for helping out the Demon SkuLL Clan)

Unreal Tournament Comments: Everyone had great fun this time around. We played two CTF Unreal Tournament maps. The bloodshed began with a very head-to-head battle on Face. The score was 1:1 for some 15 minutes or so. And then there was a full frontal assault on the blue base and a return on the red. The next couple of minutes were very intense. Great teamplay guys! Snipers from both teams were popping heads off left and right. Lets just say that if you weren't strafing or tele-jumping, then you were just as likely to have lost your head into the dark void of space as the next newbie that ran in a straight line. I must say that it was a very intense match, but in the end the red team's great teamplay won it the match. The next map we played was Lava Giant. This game seemed to be quite unorganized but was very good throughout. A new face in the crowd, Wang_Ker [I think that MIGHT've been me back in my Unreal Tourney days - Yautja], dominated this level but with both sides acting as individuals rather than teams, neither side was all that great teamplay wise. It seemed to become a very popular to camp atop the moutain, or at least to those who knew how to get up. In the end, blue won. That left the final score at: RED=1 BLUE=1 Following this, two Assault matches were played and, although unorganized, Mr.Z and PARAVOID dominated these games. As for our members, all showed their faces and played well. That is, with the exeption of DSK!LLA, who had a very proper excuse for not coming. A new player darren, did fairly poorly both matches but is supposedly a very skilled Q3A player. We shall see. The clan has its eye on him. Overall - Worthwile for the money and time, a good battle for all.

Comments: The so called 'tournament' included members: Mr.Z, K!LLA, HANRAHAC, and new member CERBERUS. These DS members showed up a group of young boys who is the 'big daddy' of Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 Arena. They tried to hide from the DS clan in other games, but we persued and conqured. No-one performed out of their leage this time through and all of the to-be-accepted members did not show. Maybe next time we shall have more luck as our clan grows.

Quake 3 Arena Comments: Mr.Z and K!LLA dominated the matches, winning in a 3:3 tie. Mr.Z showed his usual well-rounded performance with a big weakness in the armor division. However, this is the 1st match where K!LLA has made an astounding performance. Using the term 'Capitalization' as a ufamism for loading himself with all the power-ups, K!LLA dominated the Quad-Damage. Two of his 3 wins were, however sneaking away the last kill from Mr.Z in a 30-29 victory. 'Cerebrus' started by doing nothing but gulping down rockets and swallowing plasma but finished with honorable mention for his improvment factor. He may be clan material, other members will choose if he is to be accepted or not. Another tourney. may be needed for the final decision.
